Job Overview:
AECI Food & Beverage is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to manage logistics and warehouse operations.
This role involves planning deliveries, managing dispatch teams, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring timely and correct product dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate product deliveries using internal and external transport.
Issue purchase orders for logistics and warehouse-related services.
Record and track stock data and transport details accurately.
Ensure that dispatched goods are correctly documented and traceable by batch or bag number.
Support the Customer Care function as needed.
Supervise dispatch personnel and manage their schedules, including overtime.
Collaborate with the Production and Sales teams to meet customer stock needs.
Ensure dispatch staff availability aligns with delivery timelines.
Oversee and manage stock within the warehouse and dispatch zones.
Optimize distribution costs through efficient load planning.
Ensure productivity and performance of team members.
Conduct monthly cycle counts and participate in quarterly stock counts.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in all work areas.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 (Matric)
NQF Level 2 in Chemical Operations
Diploma in Supply Chain Management
Experience with Syspro or SAP is advantageous
