About the Role
Pump and Abrasion Technologies is seeking a dedicated Yardman to assist in daily warehouse and factory operations. The successful candidate will support logistics and production teams by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are properly handled, maintained, and delivered where needed.
Key Responsibilities
Support warehouse and factory teams with general operational tasks.
Transport and deliver materials and equipment to assist ongoing projects.
Clean, maintain, and organize work areas, machinery, and tools.
Perform physical labour such as lifting, digging, and carrying heavy items.
Operate machinery, including forklifts (if licensed).
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Provide general assistance to team members as required.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 11 qualification.
Previous experience as a general worker or in a similar role.
Understanding of general labour practices, principles, and safety procedures.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Forklift license will be an added advantage.
