Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Leader to manage our Poetry store in Brooklyn.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring financial control, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a high-performing team in line with company culture and standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Attain and exceed daily, monthly, and annual sales targets to support business sustainability.

Oversee financial operations of the store to ensure profitability.

Implement and maintain brand-aligned merchandising and product presentation standards.

Ensure effective stock control, including loss prevention and optimal stock levels.

Provide outstanding customer service to deliver a superior shopping experience.

Foster strong relationships with both internal departments and external partners.

Manage all HR functions, including recruitment, payroll administration, and workforce planning.

Lead, inspire, and hold team members accountable while promoting a positive, fun work environment.

Align staff with company values and culture.

Ensure compliance with all company policies and health and safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Clear criminal record.

Experience Required:

At least 5 years of experience in a Store Management role.

Minimum of 8 years’ total retail experience.

Proven track record in managing a high-turnover retail store (R20 million+ annually).
